A stunning Welcome and Orientation Programme at the prestigious Megha Hall marked the beginning of the new academic year for Bagmati SS/College, a renowned institution in the northeastern part of the Kathmandu metropolis.
The event served as a platform to introduce the new Grade 11 students to the college’s faculty and familiarize them with the college’s culture, rules, and regulations.
The exciting gathering was the ideal fusion of education and entertainment, leaving the new faces glowing with expectation. The eager Grade 12 students welcomed the newcomers with a warm and colourful welcome by showcasing their talent in a variety of musical and dance performances.
This annual festival has been hosted by Bagmati SS/College, which has welcomed participants from various schools throughout the Kathmandu valley and beyond. Students from all across the country have come to attend because of its reputation for academic brilliance, cutting-edge facilities, and emphasis on holistic development through extracurricular activities.
Dr. Surendra Sitaula, the esteemed Chairperson of the Bagmati Education Foundation, addressed the audience during the programme. He proudly proclaimed the size of the college’s overall grounds, which included 20 acres of space set aside for sports and recreational activities.
“Bagmati is the best place to learn and grow,” Dr. Sitaula emphasised giving the incoming students hope and reassuring them of the college’s dedication to offering a supportive atmosphere for their academic journey.
The stage is prepared for Bagmati SS/College to have yet another academic year full of learning, development, and unique experiences, and the students are ready to start this new chapter.
