Bagmati College hosted an insightful Banking Career Talk this past Wednesday, offering students a deep dive into the world of banking and finance. The session was led by Ashmita Singh, the esteemed EC Manager of Sanima Bank, who provided a comprehensive overview of career opportunities in the banking sector.
Throughout the talk, students were educated on the organizational hierarchy within banks and the essential skills needed to thrive in the banking sector. Singh also explained the intricate workings of banking channels and how money circulates within these systems.
Bishal Parajuli, the Principal of Bagmati College, extended a warm welcome to the guest speaker and expressed his gratitude for her valuable insights. He also congratulated the participating students for their enthusiasm and engagement during the session.
The event saw active participation from both Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) students and Grade 12 students. Management Coordinator Kabiraj Rai remarked, “The program was immensely beneficial for students aspiring to build a career in banking.” He further emphasized the college’s dedication to equipping students with the necessary computer and communication skills to excel in their professional lives.
Bagmati SS/College, located in Sukedhara, Kathmandu, offers a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) program affiliated with Tribhuwan University, as well as Plus 2 programs (Grade 11 and 12) in Management, Science, Law, and Humanities.
